On October 2, Keiser University Vietnam – Hue Campus successfully organized a workshop titled “Exploring American Culture and Workplace Culture”, led by Ms. Daniela Kabeth, an American lecturer currently living and working in Vietnam.
A Valuable Opportunity for KUV Students to Learn About American Culture
The event attracted strong participation from KUV students, creating an engaging and interactive learning environment that offered insights into American lifestyle, people, and professional culture.
This workshop was part of KUV’s ongoing series of academic and intercultural exchange activities, designed to help students broaden their global perspectives, enhance cross-cultural communication skills, and prepare for study and work in international environments.

Exploring American Culture and Professional Work Ethics
During the session, Ms. Daniela Kabeth shared fascinating insights into the everyday life and values of American people – from communication styles and punctuality to personal responsibility and critical thinking in education. Through her approachable presentation style and real-life examples, Ms. Daniela helped students gain a deeper understanding of how people think, act, and interact in a modern, multicultural society.
A key highlight of the workshop was the discussion on American work culture, where efficiency, accountability, and individual initiative are highly valued.
Students learned about the core principles of the American workplace, including: Proactivity and personal responsibility in completing tasks. Respect for cultural diversity and differing perspectives. Effective and professional communication in teamwork. Work–life balance, a deeply respected concept in American society.
These insights provided KUV students with a clearer understanding of how to succeed in a global working environment, helping them build confidence and readiness for international careers after graduation.

Engaging Discussions and Real-World Learning Experiences
The workshop went beyond a traditional lecture format, offering a dynamic and interactive discussion between students and the speaker. Students actively participated by asking questions about American social behaviors, teamwork practices, and career opportunities for KUV students.
The lively exchange created a warm and open atmosphere, as Ms. Daniela’s real-life stories brought American culture and workplace dynamics to life in an accessible and engaging way.
Through this experience, KUV students not only gained valuable knowledge but also enhanced their communication skills, learned to express their opinions confidently, and developed greater respect for cultural diversity in a globalized world.
